The elite eight came, but Roger and Nole saw and conquered during round-robin play in London. See the tweets here.

A smattering of tweets from and regarding this week’s World Tour Finals in London (plus some other goodies), for your perusal.

1. Roger has had lots of extra time to spend with the kids this week, particularly after he blasted Andy Murray in under an hour on Friday. Cute cartoon…

2. So very EPIC, this photo. If you were watching ESPN’s commentary, this is where John McEnroe referred to Andy getting his pants pulled down by Roger. Just thought you’d like to know…

3. This point comes courtesy of the ATP’s challenger guru, Josh Meiseles. Is this amazing or what?

4. Hide your babies was the familiar refrain as the testy David Ferrer made an appearance in London when Milos Raonic pulled out. Okay, it wasn’t the familiar refrain, but Ferru has been known to take offense to babies while serving. This tantrum, in our humble opinion, is located a little too close to the ballgirl…

5. Canada went 0-5 in the Tour finals, as Milos Raonic and Genie Bouchard both failed to capture a set. Not sure how Milos feels, but it looks like Genie is over it…

6. We will take the liberty to caption this: “I love tennis but I HATE HATE HATE these kids and their rock-and-roll!

7. Want more Eugenie Bouchard? We've got you covered this week, as she hits the #MediaMash double. Genie’s selfie with the pope was the best in tennis. Is this the second best? Polar bears rule!

8. Power to the people and power to the POWER COUPLES!

9. Welcome to the Roger and Nole show in London, where Kei Nishikori also gets to play a small, supporting role. Roger receives his Fan Favorite award and Sportsmanship award, and coach and friend Stefan Edberg joins him. Nice touch.

10. In today’s episode of the Roger and Nole show, we crown Novak Djokovic as the year-end No. 1! Congrats, Nole!

11 (Because this one goes to eleven). Roger breaks the 25-year-old record for least games lost in round-robin play on Thursday, and on Friday, Novak breaks the record for the second time in two days. Just wow!!!
