Agnieszka Radwanska celebrated the beginning of the 2016 tennis season in the same celebration that she celebrated the end of 2015—with a title.

The new world No. 4 notched her 18th career title with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over American Alison Riske.

“I was really in a lot of trouble there,” Radwanska said after the match. “But my serve really helped me today. Also in the deciding points I was a little bit better, and I think that's why the score was the way it was—it made it look easier than the actual match was."

Radwanska has been on fire since the 2015 U.S. Open, winning 22 of 26 matches. Radwanska won all ten sets she played over the course of the week in Shenzhen.
