The tennis season has just begun, but emotions are already running high.

A smattering of twitter highlights and lowlights from the first week of the tennis season .

1. Dogs rule, tennis drools!

We start of this week with a strange canine appearance at a Challenger match.

2. Aw, looks like Pavs has found her long, lost twin!

3. Vika being Vika. Something tells us we are going to see a lot of that this season!

4. Last week tennis fans got to know the surprisingy talented and surprisingly righteous Naomi Broady. What did y’all think?

5. Francesca Schiavone came to Auckland and barely survived.

6. Martina and Sania, a.k.a “Santina” nab another title, and head to Melbourne as the heavy duty favorites for the year’s first major.

7. A frustrated Rafa (you would be too if you had to play Novak Djokovic) asks an unruly fan if he wants to coach him in Doha. There could be worse jobs, that’s for sure…

8. One week, one title. That’s a percentage Sloane Stephens could get used to.

9. YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS! HOW CAN IT BE THIS EASY TO SUPPORT A WORTHY CHARITY! Well, it is… (Thanks, Nole!)

10. Translation: “Top that, Roger Federer!”

11. (Because this one goes to 11) Rafa on when he might win another major (great answer, great person).
