Switzerland’s Viktorija Golubic survived double-duty on Saturday in Gstaad, winning all four sets she played to reach her first career final at the ladies Open Gstaad.

Golubic, 23, earned her first Grand Slam win a little over a month ago at Roland Garros, and she has continued her fine play on the clay this week.

The Zurich native survived a wild encounter in the quarterfinals with Germany’s Carina Witthoeft in which both players managed six breaks of serve in two sets. Eventually Golubic triumphed 7-6(4), 7-6(4), but her work was not done. In an all-Swiss semifinal she took out WTA debutante Rebeka Masarova, 6-3, 6-2, ending the 16-year-old’s run with a dominant performance.

An all-Swiss final was also in the works but Kiki Bertens put the kibosh on that idea by edging Timea Bacsinszky, 7-5, 7-6(1). Bertens, who defeated Bacsinszky in this year’s Roland Garros quarterfinals, will bid for her third career title and second of 2016 in the final.
