Nothing tastes as good as home cooking unless you're the guest and Simona Halep is doing the baking on her home court.

Halep dished out a double bagel, sweeping Anastasija Sevastova, 6-0, 6-0, in a 46-minute shutout to collect her second Bucharest title.

The top-seeded Romanian credited the crowd energy with helping her fight back from a set and a break down defeating American Vania King, 6-7 (3), 6-4, 6-3 in Saturday's semifinals that featured 20 service breaks from 33 break opportunities.

Today, Halep was charged up from the first ball.

Contesting her first final since she won Madrid in May, Halep served just 46 percent in the opening set but still won 12 of 15 points played on her serve against an overwhelmed Sevastova.

The seventh-seeded Sevastova won just three of 15 points played on her serve in the second set.

It was Halep's first double-bagel victory since the 2012 Dubai qualifying when she shutout Alla Kudryavtseva.

Halep captured her 13th career title, raising her record in finals to 13-8.

The 2014 Roland Garros runner-up has won at least two titles in each of the last four years.
