Give Martin Klizan an hour and he'll give you a title.

The seventh-seeded Klizan made quick work of Pablo Cuevas, 6-1, 6-4, in the German Tennis Championships final in Hamburg.

Klizan wrapped up his second title of the season in 60 minutes raising his career finals record to 5-0.

The third-seeded Cuevas served just 37 percent in the opening set.

Klizan made him pay, converting both break points and ripping through the opening set on a five-game tear.

The left-handed Klizan scored his third break for a 3-2 second-set advantage. That break sparked three straight breaks. As Klizan failed to consolidate, but broke again for 4-3.

The 47th-ranked Slovak has won two titles on two different surfaces this year. Klizan defeated Nicolas Mahut and Gael Monfils in succession to win Rotterdam on indoor hard court in February. Klizan saved a total of eight match points en route to the Rotterdam championship.

A right foot injury sidelined Klizan for much of the spring season. He had lost four consecutive ATP main-draw matches before arriving in Hamburg.
