The 29-year-old Larsson conquered Alison Riske, 7-6 (4), 6-4, capturing her second career title in the Nürnberg Versicherungscup.

Staring down a 1-4 second-set deficit, Larsson surged through five straight games.

The 97th-ranked Swede knocked off No. 5-seeded Irina-Camelia Begu, Christina McHale, Kristyna Pliskova, No. 8-seeded Katerina Siniakova and Riske in collecting her first title since the 2015 Bastad.

Contesting her first Tour-level singles final in three years, Larsson's title triumph comes two years after she partnered Kiki Bertens winning the Nürnberg doubles crown.

Last year, Larsson and Kirsten Flipkens were Nürnberg doubles finalists.
