The elite eight-man singles final will be staged at Turin’s Pala Alpitour stadium, Italy’s largest indoor sporting arena.

It marks the first time in the ATP Finals' 50-year-history Italy will host the event.

Turin will become the 15th city to host the ATP's crown jewel tournament.

The ATP Finals will leave London’s famed O2 Arena after 2020 completing a highly-successful run.

Turin is an easy commute from Paris—the final Masters event of the regular season—and previously hosted an ATP Challenger. Turn is also close to Milan, the site of the ATP’s NextGen Finals played the week before the ATP Finals.

"Our congratulations to Turin on putting together such a comprehensive and impressive bid," ATP President Chris Kermode said in a statement. "Italy provides us with one of the strongest and most established tennis markets in Europe and has a proven track record for hosting world class tennis events with the Internazionali BNL d’Italia in Rome, as well as the Next Gen ATP Finals in Milan.

"We’re delighted to expand on our successful partnership with the FIT and Sport e Salute SpA and we look forward to bringing the ATP’s flagship season-ending event to tennis’s growing fanbase in Italy for the first time."

The Italian Federation backed Turin’s bid along with Sport e Salute SpA in partnership with the Italian Government, the municipality of Turin and Regione Piemonte.

The ATP Finals celebrated its 10th anniversary at the O2 Arena last November.

The tournament has been hugely successful routinely selling out the 17,500-seat O2 and drawing more than 2.5 million fans during its decade-long London run.

The East London venue will host the eight-man singles finale in both 2019 and 2020.
