Barbora Strycova came through an all-Czech encounter with Katerina Siniakova to book her spot in the last four at the J&T Banka Prague Open, 6-1, 6-2.
Strycova never faced a break point and won 86 percent of her first-serve points in the 69-minute encounter to set a semi-final clash with Jill Teichmann of Switzerland.
The 33-year-old improves to 10-4 lifetime at Prague, and is into the semi-finals for the second time (2017).
Teichmann, who defeated Tamara Korpatch of Germany 6-2 6-1, joins Czech Karolina Muchova as one of two maiden WTA semi-finalists this week in Prague.
Muchova, who defeated Natalia Vikhlyantseva 6-3 6-4, was granted a wild card thanks to the generosity of Lucie Safarova, who declined to take the wild card at her last Prague Open appearance due to a lack of full fitness.
Bernarda Pera defeated third-seeded Wang Qiang 6-0, 6-7(5), 6-3 to reach her second career semi-final and first on clay.
