(November 8, 2012) -- Move over Sean Connery, Andy Murray has another celebrity fan that packs a punch. Yesterday, this video of legendary music man Peter Gabriel surfaced on the ATP's YouTube page, proving that Roger Federer may have 17 Grand Slams but he might need an upgrade on his celebrity musician friends (no offense to Gavin Rossdale or Gwen Stefani, but this is Peter Gabriel we are talking about) if he is to compete with Murray in that category.

"We love to watch Andy and Novak play because they are such great fighters, and some of these finals that they've fought have been some of the most extraordinary tennis matches I've ever seen," Gabriel said.

It might be premature to call Gabriel a die-hard Murray fan, but the Scot's name was the first to pop out of his mouth when asked who his favorites were. "I go back a long way," said Gabriel. "Andy Murray now, I think all the fab four are amazing to watch."

Gabriel also talked of his love of old-time pugilists, like Connors and Nastase. "I quite like to see a bit of character, a bit of determination, willpower, because it's so much a psychological game, when you see these people who can get themselves in a hole and find the strengths to dig themselves out, it's very exciting to watch."
