Andy Murray's fake coaching announcement was the highlight of the week on Twitter, but it wasn't the only tennis tweet that moved the needle.

Some good, some bad, some fabricated, some true--but always entertaining. It's your weekly dose of snark from the tennis twitterverse.

1. Win, lose, rain or shine, Sloane Stephens seems to always inspire debate. That debate continued after her first-round loss at the Family Circle Cup in Charleston this week.

This wasn't Sloane's direct reply to the above tweet, but it might as well have been.

2. Venus says: “No excuses. If you didn't get enough sleep it's nobody's fault but your own."

3. While the Czech Davis Cup team struggles with jet lag, a vacationing Tomas Berdych hits the snooze button for the umpteenth time in a palazzo in Rome after a long day of sightseeing... It's all part of the glory of Davis Cup.

4. After pretty much every reputable British media outlet ran the story of Andy Murray's impending big coaching announcement, somebody had the good sense to put in a call to Murray's agent to confirm the validity of this April Fool's hoax. Guess what? The hoax was valid...

5. Oh, drats, finally a Jeopardy question we know the answer to and we MISS THE FREAKING SHOW!

6. These Swiss guys are clearly on the happy pills, don't you think?

7. Love the confidence of rising 20-year-old Eugenie Bouchard. Absolutely love it.

8. Rumor has it that due to the lack of American men having success on the ATP tour, Brad Gilbert has begun training dogs to replace them.

9. Ivo, for those of us that have to watch tennis 12 hours a day, it is simply not feasible to leave the television while exercising. Thus, we like the treadmill.

10. Time to update the tennis bucket list with the following: Go to a Davis Cup tie in Naples, Italy. What a gorgeous setting!

11. (Because this one goes to 11): Yes, thank you, that explains everything, JJ.
