Serena Williams, Stanimal Battle for Ping-Pong Bragging Rights

 


While waiting in the green room for yet another pre-US Open media appearance, Serena Williams and Stan Wawrinka had some fun playing ping-pong. Despite her strange, upright paddle technique, Williams fared quite well against the Stanimal in the rallies. She moved the ball from corner to corner using a nice little snap technique, and even dared to try to break down Wawrinka's backhand (Has she not read the scouting reports?)

But Williams lacked the finishing touch that she typically displays on the tennis court--she was probably hindered a bit by the tight dress and heels--and fell to the Stanimal.

We think Serena took it easy on him, and let him win. What do you think?
