Babolat has signed a 5 year contract with Roland-Garros and also celebrates that both of the title-winners, Li Na and Rafael Nadal, both play with Babolat sticks (the Pure Drive GT and the Aeropro Drive GT, respectively.)

In a true celebration of French culture, the French Open used balls by the French brand and the two winners used Babolat sticks to achieve their slam titles. While the brand has been around since 1875, it only began making more than strings in 1994 and only in 2000 did it make the expansion to North American and extended European markets. It has since become one of the most popular tennis brands, thanks in part to the devotion of their players.

We’re certainly looking forward to the future to see how Babolat’s rapid growth will improve the game in the future.
