Usually it’s the media pandering to the athletes, but on Sunday in Melbourne, Novak Djokovic gave members of the press a special treat as he hand delivered special “chocolate delights” in his pre-Australian Open press conference.

It’s a tradition that Djokovic said he likes to keep on the first and last press conference of each season.

Another tradition Djokovic would like to keep is his dominance at the year’s first Slam. The Serb failed in his bid for a four-peat last season when he fell to Stan Wawrinka in the quarterfinals, but he’s in the running to become the first player to claim five Australian Open titles in the Open Era, along with Roger Federer. Each have won four, but it’s only Djokovic who’ll be blessed with good karma from his chocolate generosity.
