Federer: Don't Ask Stupid Question

Roger Federer showed some feistiness following his Australian Open semifinal loss to Novak Djokovic.

When a journalist asked if he thought Djokovic's dominance can grow despite having "no great opponents" in the future, Federer responded with a stinging rebuke.

"You have to be careful how you phrase a question," Federer replied. "You don't want to be rude to the other players because you have to face them. I don't have to face them. I don't ask them stupid questions like that.

"I think there's a lot of good players on the tour. I'll tell you that. I think it's hard to keep up that level of play. What he's been doing is amazing. I was very happy how I've been able to keep up my level. Is it better or not? I don't know."

Video of Federer's post-match press conference is here, though the "stupid questions" segment is not included. You can read the full interview, which does include the quotes, here
