Kyrgios Chicanery Not Enough to Get Aussies a Win at Hopman Cup

Kyrgios defeated Pavlasek in the men’s singles, 7-5, 6-4, but when he broke down the match with reporters it became clear that he’s not quite at 100 percent.
“I guess I was doing some training, and just the load, coming back into it after the off-season,” said Kyrgios of the injury to his left knee, which was taped during competition. “Nothing really serious.”
