Video: Smashing Stan Breaks a Yonex over his Knee



Yonex recently announced that it will begin fining players that smash their racquets during matches. It’s an image thing, according to the company. Well, maybe Stan Wawrinka didn’t get the memo? Either that or losing a break to Roger Federer in the second set was simply too much frustration to handle?

Either way it was a good smash, and while it didn’t pay immediate dividends (Wawrinka lost the set) Wawrinka did begin to turn his match with Federer around a few games later.
