It’s been pretty quiet when it comes to photos of Novak Djokovic and Jelena Ristic’s wedding this weekend. Reportedly all staff at the private resort in Montenegro had to sign an agreement and turn in their cell phones at the gates.

After several days of waiting the first picture of the couple was released by Hello Magazine on Sunday:

In addition to the photo, there were some quotes from the seven-time Grand Slam champion and his new bride:

"I was trying to be present in that moment and memorise it,” Djokovic told Hello. “I was focused on her, and her smile, and our baby. It really was a perfect moment."

"I was very nervous and everything seemed a blur," Jelena told the magazine. "I was seeing him through tears and immediately started crying when I saw him. I was just so happy and probably being pregnant makes it quite difficult to control the emotions. I am so blessed to have him in my life. I couldn't ask for a better partner than him."

"I am marrying the woman I love and there is no better feeling than that," Djokovic added. "To win Wimbledon and to now be preparing for fatherhood – I couldn't ask for more!"

The magazine will feature a full photo album of all the couple’s celebrations, and will be on newstands on Monday.
