Monfils Speaks Proper English in Victory over Carreno Busta

did during his 6-4, 6-4, 7-5 first-round victory over Spain’s Pablo Carreno Busta. Watch as the Frenchman drops the ball just over the net and it magically kicks back over to his side as a flummoxed Carreno Busta can only watch in despair.
Monfils will continue brushing up on his English in the second round when he faces fellow Frenchman Adrian Mannarino. Just for good measure, Monfils threw in this crazy backhand to keep his opponent, and the fans, on their toes on tuesday:
