Nonplussed with Fire Alarm, Serena Williams Is Happy to Evacuate Presser



There was a fire alarm at Wimbledon's Centre Court on Wednesday, and it happened during Serena Williams’ post-match press conference. That was just fine with Serena, who is no doubt getting tired of talking about the pressure she faces at Wimbledon while trying to win her fourth consecutive major and keep her hopes of becoming the first woman to win the calendar-Slam since Steffi Graf in 1988.

“Does that mean I’m done with press?” she asks, as the room breaks out in laughter.
