Tennis’s hottest power couple has pulled the plug. Sports insider Darren Rovell reports that Maria Sharapova and Grigor Dimitrov are no longer dating.
The couple, dating since 2012, was briefly rumored to be engaged last year but those rumors were quickly quashed.
Sharapova spent the last week vacationing in Montenegro, while Dimitrov has been on the court in Florida, and was spotted with Ivan Lendl.
The breakup is Dimitrov’s second since Wimbledon. He also dropped his coach, Roger Rasheed, days after Wimbledon, so naturally the spotting of Lendl at his practice has started speculation about a possible pairing between the two.
On the relationship side, Bulgarian press is already circulating rumors that Dimitrov has found another squeeze. We can neither confirm or deny these reports.
