Video: Rafa's New Kia Commercial


The King of Clay will remain Kia's king of the road.

The car maker and Australian Open sponsor announced it has extended its endorsement pact with Rafael Nadal through 2020.

Nadal, who signed with Kia in 2006, will continue his role as Kia's global ambassador.

The new commercial above announces Nadal's contract renewal and features action footage of Rafa from the 2015 Australian Open and behind the wheel.

When Nadal won the Mercedes Cup in Stuttgart last month he was awarded an optic yellow Mercedes painted the color of a tennis ball. 

"It's not a Kia, but it's still good," Nadal said then. See Rafa accept the keys to the Mercedes at the 1:50 mark of video below.
