In addition to being in the singles final, the World No. 1 will go after yet another major doubles title with her sister Venus Williams.

The unseeded team booked their place in the final, but not without having to work for their spot. They faced off in the semfinals against No. 8 seeds Karolina Pliskova and Julia Goerges.

The five-time Wimbledon champions fell behind an early break in the opening set. But, they eventually sent things into a tiebreak that they won 7-6(3).

After falling behind 4-1 in the second set, the American team leveled thigns up for 4-all. After gaining a late break, Serena Williams soon fired down an ace on match point to close out the 7-6(3), 6-4 victory.

Waiting for them in the final are the No. 5 seeds Timea Babos and Yaroslava Shvedova. They advanced into the final with a 6-4, 6-2 win over No. 10 seeds Rachel Atawo and Abigail Spears.

The Williams Sisters have won Wimbledon five times with their last doubles title coming in 2012.
