Video: Grigor Dimitrov Hits Sliding Drop Shot Winner at Queen's Club

Grigor Dimitrov put on a clinical performance to distpach top-seeded Stan Wawrinka, 6-2, 6-4 and advance to the final at the Queen's Club in London on Saturday. The Bulgarian, now ranked No. 13 in the world, has shown no ill-effects from his opening round loss to Ivo Karlovic at Roland Garros this week. He's advanced to the final without dropping a set, and picked up his third top-10 win of the season.

Dimitrov put on an attacking clinic over the course of the match, and won four games in a row from 2-2 in the first set. Although Wawrinka hit back in the early stages of the second, his only chances were denied as Dimitrov served his way out of trouble from 1-2, 15-40 down. The Bulgarian broke to lead 4-3 and in the next game, Wawrinka had enough. He threw his racket to the back fence, whacked it on the ground and finally broke it across his knee.

While the scoreline itself proved uneventful, Dimitrov's confidence was on full display at one point in the second set. He ran down a well-played drop shot from Wawrinka, slid into the splits and flicked a sharp-angle forehand pass for the winner. Check out the Bulgarian's masteful work in slow motion below.

A win over Feliciano Lopez on Sunday would give Dimitrov a title on all three surfaces this season. He's already won Acapulco on hard court and Bucharest on clay in 2014.
