Dog Day Afternoon For Alcaraz

Defending Miami Open champion Carlos Alcaraz welcomes the dog days in the Sunshine State.

The world No. 1 took timeout after practice to play with the dogs brought to the tournament by the Humane Society of Miami.

Dog lover Alcaraz also posed for photos with his canine crew promoting the Miami Human Society's adoption initiatives.

Reigning Indian Wells and Miami champion Alcaraz will continue his title defense on Hard Rock Stadium Court when he faces Dusan Lajovic to headline the men’s schedule while top Americans Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul will also take the court in Sunday's schedule that features 10th-seeded Jannik Sinner vs. 21st-seeded Grigor Dimitrov.
