Second Serve

Spectacle can erupt when Andy Murray and Philipp Kohlschreiber share the court.

Remember Roland Garros last year when Murray fought off the gritty German, 3-6, 6-3, 6-3, 4-6, 12-10?

The players with two of the best backhands in the game were at it again today in Indian Wells.

Kolschreiber produced one of the most eye-popping shots of the tournament. Watch the flexible German's stirring, spinning backhand flick winner off the baseline.

That slick stick save gave Kohlschreiber set point and he zapped an inside out forehand winner to take the set and level the match.

Kohlschreiber made the magic happen. Then Murray made him disappear.

The fourth-seeded Scot reeled off five straight games to open the decider, cruising to a 6-1, 3-6, 6-1 victory to set up a round of 16 clash with Adrian Mannarino.
