Have you ever heard of the Stepanek shuffle? We hadn’t either until we saw the 35-year-old Czech Radek Stepanek bust it out after his day 4 hot shot against Mikhail Youzhny. As far as the other two shots on this compilation, how about that backhand flick by Kenny de Schepper. Maybe a little lucky, but nonetheless, a gem.
But the 35-year-old Stepanek, with his remarkable sliding and sprinting on the point against Youzhny, definitely gets high marks. Stepanek went on to defeat Mikhail Youzhny, 6-0, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, and will face Ernests Gulbis in the third round.
