On a day that started with news of a new Royal Baby, it ended with a couple deemed "tennis royalty" announcing special news of their own. But as often happens on Twitter, things took an unexpected and funny turn.
Brooklyn Decker, wife of former No.1 and US Open champion Andy Roddick, posted this newsworthy message on Twitter. Decker's publicity representative later confirmed the news.
That drew many congratulatory tweets including this one from Caroline Wozniacki.
Things got funny though when People Magazine in a rush to break the news posted the wrong name on its headline listing another famous tennis player named Andy. A friend of Decker's noticed it right away.
What resulted was a hilarious conversation between all parties involved in the erroneous headline including Andy Murray.
Roddick, 32, and Decker, 28, married six years ago. Congratulations to the happy couple!
