Sunday May 17, 2015 will forever be remembered as the day that Novak Djokovic nearly lost his eye to an ornery champagne cork while Maria Sharapova sat placidly while a ballkid tumbled to near death behind her then quickly recovered to open the Russian’s parasol and give her shade.

Maybe it will inspire a band to name itself "Maria Sharapova and the falling ballboys" someday. We can only hope.
