Video: Umpire Ali Nili Tells Federer and Wawrinka no Shots Below Belt



Last year’s unforgettable and dramatic semifinal between Roger Federer and Stan Wawrinka is still on umpire Ali Nili’s mind. Watch as the Iranian umpire warns Federer and Wawrinka to keep it clean. “No shots below the waistline, protect yourself throughout the match,” he says.

Last year Federer and Wawrinka famously feuded after their semifinal. The feud started, reportedly, when Mirka Federer called Wawrinka a “crybaby.”
