October 16: Germany's Philipp Kohlschreiber turns 29. Currently ranked No. 18 in the world in singles, Kohnlschreiber has four singles and six doubles titles at the ATP level. He reached the quarterfinals of Wimbledon in 2012.

October 17: France's Nathalie Tauziat turns 45. Tauziat won eight singles and 25 doubles titles on the WTA tour. She reached the Wimbledon final as a singles player in 1998 and the US Open final in doubles in 2001. She reached a high of No. 3 in both singles and doubles.

October 18: WTA legend Martina Navratilova is 56. Arguably the greatest player in history, Navratilova won 18 Grand Slam singles titles, 31 Grand Slam doulbes and 10 mixed doubles titles. In addition, she had a 74-match win streak in 1984 and was named to the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2000.

October 20: Belgium's Yanina Wickmayer turns 24. Currently ranked No. 23 in the world, Wickmayer has three WTA level titles and reached the semifinals of the US Open in 2009.
