After a Year Away from Tennis, Tipsarevic Begins to Train

Janko Tipsarevic has been out of action since last October, but the former world No. 8, who currently owns zero ATP ranking points, could finally be getting healthy again.

He posted the following update on his Instagram page on Tuesday.

Been a long time... #2015

The 30-year-old Serb, who underwent surgery in May in Frankfurt, had to undergo surgery a second time when a new tumor appeared near the surgical scar on his foot.

Tipsarevic tweeted that his “legs are not listening,” but the good news is that he’s begun training and his feet seem to be in good stead. After tweeting that he “had no ATP points” on Oct. 16, Tipsarevic next tweeted that he had good news from his doctor with hash tag #2015. A week later Tipsarevic posted the video of himself training.
