Mladenovic and Babos Notch Maiden Victory in Singapore



The 5-5 point in a tiebreaker is always tense, but Kristina Mladenovic and Timea Babos played an effortlessly smooth point against Raquel Kops-Jones and Abigail Spears to gain the upper hand in the first-set tiebreak on Wednesday in Singapore.

Watch as Mladenovic and Babos intuitively switch back and forth during the point, with each making clutch, precision volleys before Mladenovic finally puts the final volley away for a winner. Nice stuff!

Mladenovic and Babos would gain the 7-6(5), 6-2 victory, their first ever as a team at the WTA Finals.
