Wow, another great year in the major slams, ending with the oh so very suspensful men's singles match between federer and del potro. The women's doubles won by the william's sisters, brings their total doubles  grand slam championships total to ten! Wonder if anyone will ever be able to beat them since they are so dominant together...? The women's singles was very interesting this year with Clijsters winning the tournament. Go Clijsters for the comeback victory... Nice to see a great tennis ambassador back in the game! And the men's singles? What can I say, it was a great suspensful five set teaser until the very end. del potro dug in and fought tremendously for his first grand slam title. Federer of course always a pleasure to watch, but today he took the runner up role. Great end to the four major slams of 2009, cant wait for next years!
