September 16: Eight-time doubles Grand Slam winner Rosie Casals turns 64. The American woman took the Wimbledon doubles crown five times between 1967 and 1973 and added the US Open women's doubles title in 1967. In addition, she won the mixed doubles titles at Wimbledon in 1970 and 1972 and at the US Open in 1975. As a singles player ,she reached the final of the US Open twice and the semifinals of Wimbledon four times.

September 17: Current men's No. 6 Tomas Berdych is 27. Berdych reached the 2010 Wimbledon final by upsetting defending champion and No. 1 Roger Federer in the quarterfinals, and shocked Federer in the quarterfinals of this year's US Open. He has seven career singles titles on the ATP level to date.

American former Top five singles player Harold Solomon turns 60. Solomon reached the finals of the 1976 French Open, losing to Adriano Panatta. He won 22 singles titles in all.

September 20: Spain's Feliciano Lopez, currently ranked No. 32 in the world, turns 31. Lopez has been ranked as high as No. 15 in the world, and is a three-time quarterfinalist at Wimbledon. He has two singles and doubles title to his credit on the ATP tour.

September 21: Eleven-time doubles Grand Slam chamion Virginia Ruano Pascual of Spain turns 39. Pascual racked up six women's doubles titles at the French Open between 2001-2009 and won the US Open doubles title three years in a row from 2002-2004. She also won the Australian Open in 2004, just missing the career doubles Grand Slam by losing the Wimbledon final three times. She reached No. 1in the world in women's doubles in 2003, and won 43 titles overall, as well as the silver medal at the 2004 and 2008 Olympics.  In addition, she won the 2000 French Open mixed doubles title.

September 22: Germany's Sabine Lisicki, currently ranked 33rd in the world, turns 23. Lisicki has three WTA titles to her credit and came into the public eye when she reached the semifinals of Wimbledon in 2011.  She also reached the doubles final that year at Centre Court.
