Andy Murray has always been a thoughtful interview, but after his Davis Cup victory over Argentina’s Guido Pella on Sunday in Glasgow, he took it to another level.

Murray took an eight-minute break during the third set of the match, getting his upper leg strapped, and when a reporter asked why he had to leave the court for treatment, the Scotsman said, well... he said, aw shucks, you’ll just have to watch the video.

Murray won the match 6-3, 6-2, 6-3, and had the mic drop moment in press, but Argentina had the last laugh on Sunday. Leonardo Mayer won a decisive fifth rubber to power his team past Great Britain and into the Davis Cup final.
