Rebecca Peterson completed her maiden title run with a dazzling pair of matches, dropping just six games in the final two rounds to claim the Jiangxi Open title.

The 24-year-old becomes the first Swedish woman to claim a WTA singles title since 2015 with her 6-2 6-0 victory over No.4-seeded Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan.

Peterson, ranked 78, dropped only one set and recorded two bagel sets in five rounds at Jiangxi. She improves to 21-17 on the season at the WTA-level, up from 10-11 last season.

She is projected to rise to 52 in Monday’s WTA rankings, which would match her career high.

20-year-old Rybakina, who started the week at 69 in the WTA rankings, is projected to make her Top 50 debut at 49.

Wang Xinyu and Zhu Lin won the doubles title 6-2 7-6(5) over Zhang Shuai and Peng Shuai.
