Daniil Medvedev will arrive at Wimbledon with wind in his sails.

The Russian dismantled hard-serving Sam Querrey in Saturday’s Mallorca Championships final, 6-4, 6-2, for his 11th career ATP title and first on grass.

Next stop? Wimbledon, where the Russian is the No.2 seed and will face Germany's Jan-Lennard Struff (who defeated Medvedev in Halle two weeks ago) in first-round action on Tuesday.

If Medvedev can carry his form from Mallorca to London, he could potentially be a factor at Wimbledon this year. The 25-year-old Russian has yet to reach past the third round in three previous appearances at SW19, but his confidence will be on high after reaching the quarterfinals at Roland Garros, where he had never logged a main draw win prior to this May.

On Saturday Medvedev was a menace from the serving stripe, where he lost just three first-serve points and nine overall on serve against Querrey. The World No.2 hammered ten aces and never faced a break point in his nine service games.

Medvedev made the most of his opportunities on return, breaking for 4-3 in the opening set—all he needed to claim the stanza. In the second set he broke in the opening game and again for 5-2 before serving out the match without any fuss.

Medvedev improves to 22-13 lifetime on grass and 2-0 against Querrey.
