It was a special day in Marseille for a pair of talents as Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Sebastian Korda each celebrated the century mark on tour with victories to reach the round of 16 at the Open 13 Provence.

And they both did at the expense of the home favorites.

Davidovich Fokina defeated Gregoire Barrere, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, while Korda topped Hugo Grenier, 6-3, 2-6, 7-6(3).

Davidovich Fokina has had a lot to celebrate lately. He recently announced his engagement to his fiancé Paloma Amatiste, popping the question right in front of Rome’s iconic Trevi Fountain.

24-year-old Davidovich Fokina is 100-98 lifetime. He will face Finland’s Emil Ruusuvuori or France's Luca Van Assche in the round of 16.

Korda fired 10 aces and edged Grenier, 6-3, 2-6, 7-6(3).

The American 23-year-old got the century mark faster than Davidovich Fokina, winning 100 and losing 63.

Korda next faces second-seeded Grigor Dimitrov.

It wasn’t a happy day for Andy Murray in Marseille as the three-time Grand Slam champion fell to Tomas Machac of the Czech Republic 7-5, 6-4.

Murray falls to 0-4 on the season and 722-254 lifetime.

“It’s special to share the court with such a great player, such a legend,” said Machac in his on-court interview. “I’m super happy that I could play against him and that I won today is just a bonus.”

Murray kept it close, but couldn't manage to trouble Machac's serve often enough.

"I didn't create very many chances returning," Murray said. "I would have liked to have done that better, but he also served pretty well."

Machac will face Lorenzo Musetti in round two.
