Caroline Wozniacki is No. 1 in the rankings and the first player through to the quarterfinals of the Australian Open.

Wozniacki took care of Anastasia Sevastova 6-3, 6-4, basically letting Sevastova doom herself with 36 unforced errors. Wozniacki only committed 14.

Wozniacki will face the winner of the match between sixth-seeded Francesca Schiavone and 23rd-seeded Svetlana Kuznetsova in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.

She's reached at least the quarterfinals of three of her last four Grand Slam appearances, and eight of her last 10 tournaments overall. She is still chasing her first Grand Slam title, despite being ranked No. 1 in the world.
