(June 24, 2011) Working on the hour, Caroline Wozniacki took 66 minutes to slide into the third round and Venus Williams took 62 minutes to fly into the round of 16 at Wimbledon on Friday.

World No.1 Wozniacki beat Virginie Razzano 6-1, 6-3 for the first win of the day on court two.

Early in the first set, Razzano was broken in the first set at 2-1 and the Dane broke two more times. The first set was a short 26 minutes. Razzano was able to keep serve three times in the final set and save three of four break point opportunities.

Wozniacki's net game and lack of errors was her strength today. She won 90 percent of her net approaches, hit a single unforced error, and zero double faults.

She has never made it past the round of sixteen at the All England Club.

She will play Jarmila Gajdosova, who beat Andrea Hlavackova 7-6 (1), 6-3, in the third round.

Shortly afterwards, 23rd seed Williams served 120 miles per hour serves to defeat Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez 6-0, 6-2.

She broke three times in the first set to bagel the Spaniard. Martinez Sanchez broke back the second set at 3-2 but that was short lived. Williams broke twice more to win it all.

The five-time champion is 71-9 at the grass-court major. After her sister made some fuss about both of them always being scheduled on court two but today, Venus was on court one under the roof.

"I'm not into getting into arguments with the press." Venus told ESPN about the court situation,"Everyone should have to play on court two."

She will face last year's semifinalist and the World No.3's upsetter, Tsvetana Pironkova, next. The American is playing well, however, Pironkova leads their head-to-head series at 2-1.

31-year-old Venus told the ESPN crew that getting older works to her advantage experience wise and added, "I take this opportunity to play better mentally and physically."
