Venus Williams made her second appearance on a talk show hosted by Conan O'Brien in the past 18 months last night, visiting the show during its second week on TBS.

Wearing a black dress designed by her sister Lyndrea, Venus promoted EA Sports Active 2, talked tennis fashion and recalled her epic appearance on "The Tonight Show" in the summer of 2009 where she unleashed her vicious serve on the unprepared O'Brien.

On Thursday night, O'Brien asked Williams if she thought she could kill someone with her 130-mile per hour serve to which she replied, "Why do you think of this stuff?"

After greeting the 20-time Grand Slam winner and complimenting her outfit, O'Brien told her and the audience that she had "changed the rules of fashion in tennis," and showed a few photos to back it up, notably of her lace corset from the French Open.

After she explained to the talk show host and the whistling audience that she was in fact wearing flesh-tone shorts underneath the get-up, O'Brien shot back with a faux-leering grin, saying "Fantastic, two thumbs up for the illusion!"

The two traded stories about bicycle accidents, after which Williams plugged her role in the EA Sports game and how it could help users get in shape.

O'Brien replied, "I've heard about this getting fit thing, and I'm very suspicious of it."

Williams finished the 2010 season ranked fifth in the world despite not playing a tournament after the US Open. Williams went 38-7 in 2010, winning two titles and reaching two other finals, but falling in the quarterfinals at Wimbledon to No. 82 Tsvetana Pironkova.

With seven singles Slams under her belt, the 30-year-old is perhaps the greatest women's player alive who has never finished a season ranked No. 1. She has finished 10 seasons ranked in the Top 10, and 2010 marked her sixth time to finish in the Top 5.

Her complete appearance on Conan can be viewed here.
