Well, let's give Benoit the benefit of the doubt and say he used the 'tweener as a tool of "deception." Certainly Marinko Matosevic couldn't get a read on this wild, leaping between-the-legs winner...

Ah, no matter, it’s Hopman Cup, and Paire made the right call. He chose to bring the crowd to its feet—and render the commentators speechless (except for aw, Come on!), and he executed superbly.
