It will be an all-Czech final at the Jianxi Open in Nanchang, China.

Marie Bouzkova and Katerina Siniakova each pulled off straight-set victories to set the final on Saturday, Bouzkova rallying past Diana Shnaider 7-6(5), 6-2, while Siniakova snapped Leylah Fernandez’s eight-match winning streak 7-5, 6-4.

Neither player has dropped a set this week.

Sunday’s final in Nanchang will mark the first all-Czech final since Prague 2021 (Krejcikova d. Martincova).

Bouzkova rallied from 4-1 down in the opening set, the World No.29 reaching her fifth career WTA final.

"I was down pretty much the whole time in the first set and she was just hitting winners everywhere," said Bouzkova afterwards. "So I just tried to stick to my game and be solid, and somehow I turned it around."

Siniakova avenged her loss in last week’s Hong Kong final to Fernandez, improving her head-to-head against the talented Canadian to 1-2.

Siniakova, this year’s Bad Homburg champion, will bid for her second title of 2023. The World No.60 is 0-1 lifetime against Bouzkova, with a three-set loss to her compatriot at Roland-Garros in the first-round in 2021.
